RBR Welcomes Rudy Gallant Back

 


In the last few months, RBR has reevaluated the staff compliment and we are most excited that Rudy Gallant is now back on the team from 1st October 2020. Rudy is well known by many RBR customers and was one of the founding members of the company back in 2004. While Rudy left RBR to pursue other interests he never really left RBR, it was in his blood and always will be.

Rudy comes with a lot of industry knowledge and retains a tremendous amount of respect among the RBR customer base. In welcoming back one of the founders of RBR Rudy not only strengthens the underlying ethos and methodologies of RBR but also allows us to look to the future with clarity and confidence. Having this expertise back inside the company could not be more welcome as we all face somewhat uncertain times in a very challenging economy. Bringing new ideas around trusted ideas and solutions positions RBR as a leader in fruit export solutions in South Africa and his knowledge provides each and every client with a unique competitive edge outside of the technology RBR supplies.

RBR is extremely happy to have Rudy back on board but this is not the only change. The lockdown could have been a negative thing for RBR but farming and fruit exports could not stop. While some aspects of the industry slowed with some even stopping RBR used the time to regroup and evaluate the situation. In doing this, members of our technical teams were given more responsibility and a bigger voice in the company. First and foremost this Strengthened our development and support team and the position of RBR in the industry and secondly creating a more agile, better performing and more astute team that can tackle a wide range of challenges.

The fresh team inside RBR favours our clients and is also strengthening the Triton product in general. With Rudy now on board greater focus can be applied to Customer Support, Site Installations and Site upgrades and the changes in the technical team allow us to focus on the Triton solution itself. It is said the change is as good as a rest and RBR is fully energised, rested if you like, to work closer and harder with customers in the fruit industry than ever before.

We continuously are expanding our offers to other sectors within the market place. We have been accredited under the new codes of good practice as a Level 1 (ONE) BBBEE Supplier.
